Hello All,
I recently purchased a new 2016 GMC Yukon and wanted to replace the reverse lights and license plate rights with LEDs. I posted this in exterior already but posted here hoping for a quicker reply.

For the reverse lights, are these the right size and good quality?

Save your money for replacement tail lights - those burn out after roughly 1.5 to 2 yrs and cost $700 a piece from the dealer. It's not if they burn it's when. We just burned our second one out at ~2.2 yrs of ownership.

Id be very annoyed if I were you but you've posted this warning in multiple threads now. GM sells around 20,000 of these SUVS per month and yours is the only one Ive heard of online with this issue. Dont you think it is more likely an issue particular to your vehicle ? What makes you think other couple hundred thousand SUVs on this platform are taillight timebombs?

Any by the way I'm completely on your side that GM should cover the cost in good faith.

Why are you using an interior light for the license plate lights?
