Thanks for the write up. Anyone have any idea of where to find a connector to tie into the factory plug?

Seeing as how I could not find connectors to tie into the factory plugs, I tried to make my own. Just to be clear, I am not a professional and I do not know what I'm doing, so if you see something that will leave me in a ball of flames, please tell me.

I took the 880 bulb, snipped off the glass part, and used some butt connectors to connect the posts to the new wires.

Interesting, I guess that will work.
But I know for a fact they make connectors prewired.

My first search. just snip off the 9006 ends. Type in the search bar 880 female connectors. There's a bunch of other options but can't beat it for $6

Or if you're like me and cut the ends off the stock harness, you can just cut these in half and have a male and female end and hopefully a fairly reliable connection.
