Is it possible to add heated and cooled seats?

That would be much appreciated.

Are you able to look up part numbers? Iv called 4 dealerships this morning and no one has been able to find the heated and cooled seat kit. I'm able to find the Regular heated seat kit which is 84269728, but the heated and cooled/ventilated kit is a mystery for the ages.

I have two parts managers I deal with that can help. I’m not aware of a H/C seat kit. Do you have any info on one that would help them track it down?

For the cost of that kit, especially if you have it installed by a shop, you could most likely source a set of seats that already have those options.

The ventilation part is a set of fans. I don’t know if the seat foam is different other than the perforations.

The seat back has these vents to allow that fan to breathe.

gm might not even offer it. I know they make a heated seat kit that I linked the part number to above.

I think the easiest route would be to just buy the individual parts. Iv found most of the parts on ebay, the heating pads, air blowers and rear seat cover with the vents on it. The only thing I can't find is the harness that connects everything together.

So there’s a heat/cool module that lives under the passenger seat. Let me know if it’s there or at least if you have the provisions for it. I’ll attempt to get a pic tomorrow.

I need to see both connector end pics of your passenger and driver seats to verify what wires are present in the body harness and seat harnesses.

Regarding the BCM control, there are 2 LINBus circuits. One travels from the BCM to the heat/cool module and the other to the console switches.

I need you to check 2 of the BCM connectors to see if those wires are present.

The green X3 connector, position 19. Schematics say it’s a green/white wire, but in the harness I have, it’s orange. Notice the wire in position 18 is also labeled to be green/white in color.

The light purple X6 connector, position 9, green/blue wire.

Report back with that info and I should be able to tell you what wiring is needed.

Between my 2 parts guys, they should be able to tell us if it’s offered.

The pics I need should tell us what wiring is required. As long as I can source the specific connectors/terminals, I can make the harness.

On the seat heat kit, I can’t tell if the factory seat heat switch is used to activate them. The pics I found online aren’t clear. Do you have any additional info on the kit from your research?

Where under the passenger seat would the heat/cool module be? There's like 5 Little connecters so I wanna be sure I'm looking at the right one.

How would I reach those two BCM connecters you need to see? If I remove the center console cup holder fascia will they be right there behind it?

Sorry for the noob questions.

No worries. The module would be under the passenger seat towards the front. There’s a larger tray it would be sitting in.

Number 23 in the drawing. You can also see its part number in the list.

Here’s a pic of the tray under my seat.

The BCM is located just behind the knee bolster on the driver’s side. If you look above the brake pedal, you’ll see it.

I’ve got my hand on one of the connectors in this pic.

Sorry for the late reply, been busy with work.

On the Green X3 the Wire is purple/blue in position 19.

On the Light purple X6 the wire is Green/brown in position 9.

Regarding the Module under the seat, I'm not able to find that module anywhere under the seat. So either there's not one under there or I'm braindead and can't find it.

Hopefully that helps.
