I want to ad aftermarket LED Reverse Light Pods on my 96 Dually.

I do not want to fry anything, how do I wire in a relay that will power the Lights when I put the truck in Reverse?

Use your trailer harness for all wiring.

86 to reverse light wire.
87 to your new lights.
30 to constant hot in trailer harness.

Thank you for the prompt response!

Glad I don't have to run a power wire from under the hood to the back.

Electrical is not my strong point and thanks for explaining your diagram!

Do you happen to know which wire would be constant?

Also do I do need an inline fuse correct? What amperage do you recommend? Should I use the same amperage as the fuse rating under the hood for the tail lights?
