I had posted in another thread about lift kits for LTZ suburbans (due to the air ride system). I would like to post what I have found and ask for input from members who may have some more information. For starters, here are the basic part numbers:

RS6582B 4" Rancho Suspension Lift for 07-14 Suburban, 4WD (1)
RS6202 Rear Shock Relocation Bracket Set (1)
RS999799 RS9000 Front Shock Assembly (2)

The kit is self explanatory. The B on the end of the stock number is for the color black. If you want red, simply delete the B. The rear shock relocation bracket set allows for the factory rear shocks to be reused due to the air system in them (so as I understand it you do not change the rear shocks). The number for the front shocks is listed in the Rancho guide as for: Suburban 1500 4WD w/ Autoride w/ Rancho RS6582 or RS6582B system.

Theoretically these are all the parts you need. If someone has any information to the contrary please let me know!

The other question I have is in regards to tire size and what will work on this kit / be the best. The Rancho website shows "fits up to 315/70R17 which is about a 34.4 x 12.4 tire.

I would like to use my factory 20" wheels (the cost of the kit, plus labor and tires is a little steep to jump into new wheels). That being said I have been told that several sizes are "ideal" but I would like to know who has experience with this and what works the best:

275/65R20 (34.4 x 10.8)
305/55R30 (33.2 x 12.01

Wow, I cannot believe it has been so long, but I have the lift at the shop and will be installing it in the next week or two. Still struggling on tire size. I am going to use the stock 20" LTZ wheel and would like some opinions between:

275/65 R20
305/55 R20

Thanks for your help!
