In 13 days I will be taking a road trip to the LTX SHOOTOUT. I will be borrowing a friends 26' trailer to haul my TA down...

Im no stranger to towinf, however I have not done it with my 2002 AWD 6.0 esky yet .

The truck has been lowered, however still has the air ride functioning in the rear. Im assuming when I hook up to the trailer that will sense the extra weight and lift the caddys ass back up as if it were normal height.

Am I missing anything? Is there anything I should know about towing with a lowered esky on 22s.

Btw...its 1500miles round trip...

No issues towing with 22's but I am at stock height with my denali xl. You going over any mountains or steep hulls on your trip.

Yes. Have some pretty big mountains to climp at the other end of PA.

My recommendation is to take it slow and stay in the right lane. Before I had my 408 the fastest I could pull my 7000 lb trailer with the stock 6.0 liter up eishower pass in Colorado (10000 feet above sea level I think) was 30 MPH.

Also do you trailer brakes on the trailer? If not I would recommend it

weight of trailer w/ car?

since you are so low & level... you may want to look into helper air bags for the coil springs.
make sure trailer sits level to ground...what size riser hitch do you have?

i just towed a friends boat... 5500#s (tralier & boat)
i used a 2" rise hitch.
i leveled the rear w/ norcal's kit. so it is ~1" over front.
with trailer on, i was 1 " lower than front on rear air ride

The caddy has the air ride leveling system in the rear.

Idk the weight at all.

When u say riser, u mean the opposite of a drop hitch, right?

Like @gat0r said you can get helper bags for the coils. They work in addition to your air ride system and will tremendously improve ride quality while towing that big trailer. I've seen them online for good prices and from, ehat I've seen in some other threads they are fairly easy to install.

Do u have any links for these helper bags or any write ups on here about em?

The current owner uses a ram 1500 to pull the same trailer btw. (As far as power goes ).
