Basically EVERY truck in salt states. It will be interesting to see how that works out for really bad ones. Brings back the memory of the Tacoma frame fiasco.

Now if they could be held accountable for crappy body panels that just melt away from rust, that would be great too.

The frame replacements for the Tacoma's have been awesome. So many guys have gotten new frames and been able to replace all the old rusty stuff for super cheap compared to what it would usually cost. It is like hitting the lottery if the rest of your vehicle is still in good shape imo.

Be nice for the GMC folks to get in on that action.

The frame replacements for the Tacoma's have been awesome. So many guys have gotten new frames and been able to replace all the old rusty stuff for super cheap compared to what it would usually cost. It is like hitting the lottery if the rest of your vehicle is still in good shape imo.

Be nice for the GMC folks to get in on that action.
I've heard from people that had that done and they basically put a new rolling Chassis under the truck (minus wheels and tires). At that point you could refresh the drivetrain and body panels as needed and have a new-ish truck again. Definitely a win-win for those who took the offer.
