It's cancer all the same. Remove oxygen from it and it will stop spreading.

After prep and POR-15 paint. After POR-15 dried, I sprayed chassis with Fluid Film

Also changed rear diff fluid - Royal Purple 75w-90

Btw, went to lower spare and no wrench kit in truck, has bottle jack at least. I had to borrow my neighbors.

GMC dealer where I bought truck last week, is replacing an interior door handle (peeling chrome) and replacing both interior B pillar trim panels ( originals that don't stay on very well) next Tues. I will see if they will throw in a spare tire kit.

Okay I remember this stuff. It's great for bare metal. I guess it will make a nice seal between the por 15 and the undercoat.

That, and good for all the non-under coating stuff. Like axle, springs, etc.

What effect does it have on rubber? Most grease and sprays are a no no for rubber.

From website:

Fluid Film protects all metals, and will not harm electrical connections, paints or plastics. Caution should be used around rubber goods: May cause swelling. It provides powerful protection for equipment in shipment, in storage and in use.
