spray purple power before washing the truck, wash the truck then spray all the purple power off front and engine bay and dry

Thanks for the tips. I've been very busy! Rebuilt the cooling system, replaced the intake gaskets and upgraded the injector assy.

Runs awesome!

(Also found small "o" ring on lower oil cooler line seemed to be main culprit of engine mess.)

I just use the green tire cleaner that dispenses from the local car wash, it does an excellent job. I do it a couple times a year on my 05 Sierra, the engine has 423,000 miles on it and still looks brand new.
