Driver's Door Unlock Intermittant by Remote Only.

A few times now, the driver's door has refused to unlock via the remote. It will unlock with the button on the door interior. All other doors unlock via remote without issue.

Dealer tired to explain that the lock actuator itself might be bad. Somehow, it gets the command from the remote through a different path than using the button. Make sense?

Yeah, that is strange. You'd think they'd all work or they all don't work with that one button. And nothing in between. Interested to see if anyone else experienced this and what the resolve is. In all the years I've owned this particular generation I've never experienced that.

This is long shot with no logical explanation.... Is your fob battery perhaps getting low on charge?

Brand new units and batteries.

Same signal no matter what triggers it. Bad actutator is a possibility. I'd lube the latch assy itself and any linkage.
