Did I get a good deal?

I bought a 2008 Tahoe 4WD SSV at a state auction with 96000 for $12k. Is this a good deal?

They also gave me full service history.
Synthetic oil change every 5k.
Transmission Service x 3 times (Flush?)
Rack and pinion assembly (3 times!!)
Axle replacement
Gear Oil
Belts
Differential (3 times!!).
O2 sensors
vapor recovery canister.
Control Arms Lower and upper

I'm worried about how rough this car was used and maybe that's why it was in service so many times. It drives good and it's clean. But when I turn the wheel when I'm at a full stop I hear a sound in the front end by the wheels a crack or something. Happens only sometimes
