Coolant in jar floaters.

This thickening of the coolant. It's pretty puzzling ...
Like a thick syrup. Wonder how many systems have this going on and people don't have a clue till the water pump goes out.
And then it's blamed on age and really it was some clowns topping off coolant with cheapest antifreeze they can find.
And who knows what chemistry they're mixing up.

DexCool's original formulation (mid-90s?) was notorious for thickening.
I still buy the coolant I want my mechs to use myself, so as to avoid the possibility of mismatched coolant chemistry.
