So recently my cluster has started doing some funny stuff.

Went to work Tuesday morning and noticed that my fuel level and temp gauge were not working and my abs and air bag light are also on. Tach, spedo, oil pressure and volts still work normally.

It has done this before but only briefly, this time seems more permanent.

Went to a friend and got it scanned and came up with "lost communication with cluster" code.

I assuming my cluster is fubared but thought someone on here might have another opinion.

Sounds like some stepper motor problem and likely the printed circuit board too. There is a thread on here, I don't know where, about getting reman exchange clusters.

On Ebay. I used digital dash solutions. Lots of options- all remanufactured. You can upgrade or just go with the same. These clusters have a known soldering problem. You can order one and they program and ship it, then you swap it out and send the core in. No down time.

I used gminstrumentcluster dot com. The cluster arrived at their place Tuesday, I have it back in the truck tonight(Friday) even made it look like the Escalade cluster. Very happy with them.
