Hey guys...I have a 99 Tahoe with the separate CD player on the bottom under the heating and air controls...is there a good aftermarket head unit (w/o a cd player) with Ipod capabilities that will work with the separate stock cd player?
Thanks for the help and advice with this.

Why not just get a CD player with ipod capability and just forget the bottom CD player?

Good point...I guess that's an option...but I found one without a CD player that I like, and was just curious if I could still use the cd player with the new head unit somehow.

Unless you just love changers why go through all this trouble? Adapters can get expensive and most if not all cheap cd players come with iPod capability.

Example: http://www.crutchfield.com/g_300/Ca...nvpair=AG_iPod_control|FFiPhone_4S_Compatible
Starting at $90

Lime wire no longer exists. You can rip songs off a cd and add to memory stick. You should look at the cheaper cd players I linked to and change it out.
