Buying a 02 tahoe lt 5.3 any advice

Hi guys so I'm going to look at a 02 tahoe lt 5.3 with 160k for $3000 is that a deal what u guys think of the 5.3 engine and any advice on it that would be appreciated

I love the 5.3 and have never had any major problems out of them. There are a few guys on here with twice the milage you listed and still going strong...

I just bought an 02 suburban LT, 180k for $4k. runs like a champ, just look over the vehicle well, and keep in mind that you're looking at a 12 year old vehicle.

Just look everything over really well. I have 193k on my 02 and still running strong. Really easy to work on too.
