Tried doing my front washer fluid this morning and nothing came out. Tried the rear and nothing came out. I know there's fluid in the tank.

Then I tried both at the same time and they both worked. As soon as I let go of one they both stop pumping.

Wasn't able to listen to pumps as I was on the highway and now I'm at work and can't mess with it.

Has anyone heard of this or know of a solution?

I believe you have a loose connection in the pump switch circuits. The two switches probably share some common connections from the body control module. So when both switches are pressed then the pumps work. Without a wiring diagram, hard to fix.
