Kind of torn to where I want to purchase a Steering gear box from. RockAuto has the best prices but the shipping back to get the core charge would not be worth it. Out of all the Autoparts stores, which is the best one to buy that would have the best chance of not leaking and working correctly, if there is such a thing?

After looking all over as you are, I went with RockAuto.
So far (2 months) all is good.

Which one on RockAuto did you go with Lares, ACdelco, or A1 Cardone? And if you don't mind me asking how much was the shipping back to RockAuto for the core charge?

Oops, just seen this. Went with ACdeleco. Shipping was around $12 IIRC and deducted from the core refund.
