Avic-5000NEX Install Done

I hope android auto is better than carplay. I hear great things about AA, not so much about carplay.

I'm about to do this install this weekend, or try to. Got the Pac 31, 4200NEX, micro bypass. Your setup looks good, though I'm not a fan of USB right there in the open. I prefer it hidden in console with cable out or keep USB hidden. Also planning to setup chromecast to rear (dual zone) for Netflix/Kodi/Youtube playing.

I now run a slim nub USB it is almost flush mounted!

Nice. I think I may be going that route. I just installed 4200 NEX and didnt realize I didnt have the harness to plug rear entertainment system . Also, android auto works good but charges phone super slow. I wonder if its because other USB is constantly charging my chromecast. That may have to go...
