Only owned the tahoe for a few months-snooping around i found the bumper sensors and what looks like a alarm beeper.It doesnt work but i will fix it,just wondering if anyone else has this.I cant believe i didnt notice this for months.

LOL im sure its a backup alarm their are 2 sensors in the rear bumper,but i cant seem to figure it out yet.I dont see a wire going to the reverse lights so how would it no if your in reverse?????????? I think it would be nice if it worked.

Hidden switch to turn the system on? Maybe powered on with the parking lights or brake lights?

Got it working and i think im going to disconnect.As soon as you put it in reverse it beeps and continues till your in drive nothing behind me and it beeps and gets louder if something is thier-but cant stand it beeping with nothing their.

Probably why it was disconnected in the first place lol. Sounds super annoying :pp:
On the plus side it's nice to know there kits like these out there. Wonder if you can rewire it or turn the sensitivity down so it only beeps when something is near.

Got it wired to reverse lights works great now-first beeps when something is withing 6 ft and then gets louder the closer you get im fine with it now.:)
