So today I decided to get rid of that factory antenna that we all hate so much. Looks MUCH cleaner without it. Didn't lose any reception either. I used 10 gauge braided wire and ran it up the weather stripping by the passenger door. Heat shrunk the connector and used a loop on the stud. Pretty self explanatory I guess. I had a few rubber dust covers (they came off the connections from my new a/c comp) that I kept. I trimmed a notch in one of them for the wire, and it fit perfectly over the antenna stud. I like it. Whatcha think?
