On my way home last night I noticed my volt meter barely reading 12v and the battery light just barely flickering. I thought my alternator was on its way out so took it up to AutoZone had it tested everything was good with it. Make a long story short through some searching around with wires I noticed the fusible link between the batt. and alt. was burned apart and corroded. What could cause that to go? The corrosion? Everything else seemed fine running wise and everything electrical worked. And how do I go about replacing this? This is on a 95 tahoe, even though it should all be the same.
