Almost dies.

When I get on the freeway and give it some gas it just falls out almost dies. Drives fine around the city 97 Yukon 340.000 miles. Just replaced the fuel pump. I think I may have gotten a 2 door pump. Mine is a 4 door 4x4. Would that matter?

Compare the part number on that new pump to the old one. Sure seems like a fuel pump issue. If not sure of original PN#, plug in your VIN over at GMPartsDirect or GMPartsGiant.
