Airaid modular intake pipe

Hey guys , I'm looking to buying this AIRAID MODULAR INTAKE PIPE to kinda cleanup my engine bay. Does anyone have it and noticed any performance or just for looks. Any feedback is good. Thanks in advance.

I do have one , I don’t know how much performance I get from it . It does make it louder. I also removed a plastic part on the air box.

CAI usually doesn’t net any noticeable gains. I got a little extra mpg on the highway.

I have one. Is it making more power? I dont know, I installed it the day I got the Tahoe so I have no comparison. It sounds better than the Silverado at wide open though haha.

Blackbear did some testing on these intakes back in 2012, and then in 2016. On the 5.3 they showed Hp/Tq gains of 10-12 **/tq

I didn't notice any performance or mph gain on mine, but it does sound better when you get on the pedal.

No noticeable performance gain. The sound during acceleration is louder. The look is much cleaner than the stock piece.
