I have a 2000 Yukon Denali (99 body style)with factory Bose system. I checked the back of the head unit and no rca inputs. I purchased the converter for the amp but wondering which speakers I should use it from, (I prefer the rear speakers) Also dont know if all the speakers are already connected to factory amps. I know theres a sub in the center console, which I still want working.

2 12inch MTX Thunder
1 Phoenix Gold XS2300 (bridgeable)

Should I get another XS2300 and bridge each speaker?

remove the top of the center console. you should be able to find the wire from the factory amp to the bose subwoofer. i believe the are blue and green with a black or white stripe. connect your loc there.

You can tap into any speaker. A line out converter is basically a crossover, all you need is a signal going to the amp.

I just tapped into the rear speakers and they just sound horrible. Could it be that all the speakers are connected to a stock amp? I havent look at the amp in the center console yet, Im trying to do the easy way first, dont want to take apart the console.

this is the easy way. you dont need to disconnect the sub. just tap into the wire.

i went about the lazy way of installing and had a shop do it after a lucky night in the casino. but i looked to see what they did and they tied into the wires under the console as mentioned above. it worked out very nice, the stock sub still worked, and when i turned the key off, only the sub turned off. the stock doors and all kept playing like normal until a door was opened

Why would you want both? Overlapping frequencies covered by multiple drivers that aren't identical usually results in cancellation of certain frequencies.
