Had some codes so I switched out the module and all the codes went away. However, the abs light still stays on from the moment I start the vehicle. What could this be?

It had p065 p0222 p0221
Tried to solder the module and those all went away but then had p0151. Replaced the module which led to having no codes, the ebrake light no longer coming on, but the abs light still comes on. Are you saying that its possible that the scan tool used to read those codes isn't sufficient to read what's going on now?

Those are all engine/tranny(Powertrain) related codes. ABS codes start with C, not P. When you run a regular check for codes you will get into P codes. You have to go into the ABS section of a scanner to read the ABS codes.

***edit, I was thinking srs module
the replacement module has to be the exact same part number as the old one.
if the abs light is on and no abs code (they are different than obd, so the reader has to be able to read abs), then it could be the replacement module is dead and a tech2 may show "no communication" but there should be a code or error, but it may be possible there isn't if the module is dead.
if it was the other way around with a "brake" light and no abs light then it will not show a code under certain circumstances such as a bad brake fluid sensor or stuck prop valve.
