96 4 Door Tahoe LS 4WD Fuel Level

So i have gone through the basics of trying to figure this out. I don't have a fluttering gauge, or a bouncy one. It stays about half the way past full line so in other words beyond the full line never really moves either. From my research people are saying the tank sensor is broke. Any ideas on this and if so can i get a part number as i see two types of parts one that looks enclosed and one that is open.

The difference in the two might be between a 2dr and 4dr. You can always test the ohms on the tank and load test the gauge to find ehichvone is at fualt.
