4 Low blinking light

when I put it in 4 low the light blinks then goes off???? Uggh...why?? Anyone can help with same experience ot fix this.is it broken?

Is it trans in Neutral when you select 4L?

if you are doing the procedure correctly and still getting a blinking light then it's possible the encoder motor is not engaging properly. replacements run about $160 last time I looked.
there used to be a guy selling the part to fix it, requires tearing the motor down.
"sometimes" the dash switch goes bad but I think the symptoms are different.

Might be useful to know what year, make, and model you're driving.

However, your owner's manual (found online at https://www.chevrolet.com/support/vehicle/manuals-guides; gm site will be similar, depending on what you have) will have the specific procedure to select 4LO on your vehicle. Things like having the tranny in neutral, the vehicle under 3mph, etc.

If, after that, you still have trouble, check back in. Also let us know if you got it to go.
