2013 overhead DVD issue.

Hello,
New to this forum so first off hello. My wife just purchased a 2013 Yukon and we tried out the DVD (overhead) player. It turns on and then begins to play and after about 5 minutes it freezes and stops working. Any ideas on a fix? I belong to other forums and tried the search button and went through couple of pages and didn't find anything. Thanks in advance.

Welcome but i dont have that option, you tried other disks? All do the same?

yes I tried two different dvds which work on other platforms and both would start and then freeze.

You could try cleaning it out with compressed air

Had a similar problem in another car, unfortunately it had to be replaced

If you just purchased it, the dealer should replace it if it's bad. Good luck
