I'm looking to buy a 2010 Tahoe needs new instrument cluster and some old steroids system wires removed don't know how many miles are on it but body and interior is in great shape runs drives great just has a slight tick when first started asking price is 9k has 6.0 in it is it worth the buy

Post some pics so we can judge a little better from the outside too. What part of the country are you buying it from? Has it seen salt? 9k for most trucks that age that run and drive is typically a decent price these days, unless they’ve seen serious salt decay.

"Slight tick" could be a sign of the dreaded AFM lifter failure is just starting to show its face.
Or that it has a leaking exhaust manifold gasket, usually from one of the rear bolts breaking off.

And do you mean it has an iron block 6.0 or the aluminum block 6.2?

Welcome from Miami!

Being you do not know the mileage and have a slight tick make sure you have it checked out from top to bottom by a good independent mechanic BEFORE buying it.
