MSRP is $520.. So not as bad as it could be. I'll be sure to post noise and smell notes.

I'm wrong, this is as big as a single stock catalytic converter.

I have some spare pipe. I'll need to get a flex pipe connector and a 3.5'' ID-ID connector. I'll weld this cat to the stock (and cut off) flange I'll remove.

hit it with a little maf cleaner and it'll be gtg :D

new cat in yet? anxious to hear the results....have had someone ride with me past few days exhaust is a tad on the noisy side lol

Not yet though last night I had time to get measurements and pics of the stock exhaust piping before the muffler. I'll be looking for flex joints and piping now.

It was more important to get my hornsx6 working.

Hard to get a picture of but this is what I have to work with.

I'll probably cut it out just before the muffler, enough to get a slip joint on. Then I'll cut off the flex joint and replace with the cat and a much smaller flex joint.

Stock flex joint is 10 inches, new cat is 7.5 inches.

I have misc exhaust parts and connectors on order to finish the cat install. I decided I'm not using a flex join. There isn't any room. Poking about the stock exhaust, the hangers offer plenty of movement for installation without a flex pipe.

I'll hopefully have my wideband in hand next week too. Then I can dial in afrs.
