2008 Tahoe SSV front center console?

Can I put a center console in the front (next to the driver) of an SSV tahoe?
It has rubber flooring, and there is a circle cover in the middle where the center console sits and it says " Do not remove, and do not step on"

Can I still install a center console? If so what's the part number or name?

What is that circle cover for?

Maybe here. I don't seem to be able to post links from my iPad, so search for this string:

Brand New nnbs 07 up Ebony center consoles

They're not cheap, but a TON better than no console. That, and they're new take-outs.

$400-$900 seems to be the going price for decent ones.
