hey all...............just checking on a small klunking sound coming from my rear driveshaft area when my truck upshifts/downshifts. As I suspected one of my U joints is real sloppy loose.
So I was thinking of hitting the local wrecking yard and yanking out a driveshaft (40 bucks) and doing all the U joints on that and install..................instead of being truckless in an emercency till I get it done.
anyways is a 4 door and a 2 door Tahoe 4x4 rear drive shaft longer/shorter? I am guessing yes because my 2 door is 5 feet shorter than a 4 door? anybody know?
odds of find a 2 door at the wreckers is pretty slim? what about other trucks??
