    Update.....it's been a while but I performed a total of 3 heater core flushes. The first 2 did nothing then I realized I needed to back flush it. A rather generous amount of pebbles/rocks came out... Heats blowing at 165° now, compared to 65°

    So my 01 Tahoe sags to the drivers side. Its over an inch of sag, that being said, i was thinking of replacing my torsion keys. Has anyone encountered this issue, if so what solved it? Thanks any feedback is appreciated.

    UPDATE: There was a coupling fitting on one of the heater core lines that was leaking onto the manifolds, $4 part fixed it.

    Hi I have been smelling coolant lately on my 01 Tahoe 5.3. It doesn't overheat or run odd as if there is a head gasket problem. But I really don't know how to figure out where it's coming from because there is no leaks, that is that I can see. Any support would be great

    I changed out the driver side hub about a year ago so I wouldn't think it would be either hub, both have zero play. I was also thinking it could be a warped rotor because when I turn the hub with the tire off there is a hard spot. I'll probably try the rotor first.

    My 01 Tahoe has a slight lifter noise witch I know is very common on 5.3s, I was just wonder if any of you bros have the same problem, and what can I do to prevent it. Truck has 190k and I usually put 10w-40 in it. What's the best brand of oil to use? Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hi I have an 01 Tahoe z71 and my brakes (I think) are having a problem. It only happens when I reverse, but when I reverse and break, I hear all kinds of terrible noises.     **UPDATE** So i figured out the problem, turn out it was a fuse. i went into my manual and found out that the fuse for the factory amp is tied in with the cigarette lighter and power door locks.
