Worst shocks I have ever had. If your Tahoe is a trail rig that never hits the asphalt go for them. For on-road I would stay far away from them. The worst ride I have ever experienced was with those, I'm amazed nothing broke in the interior from all the rattle and bumps. Actually, I think the...
Could be cooler lines, line quick connects, or the plate gasket where the lines go in. You need to get under there, clean everything off brake or carb cleaner, and look for where it's dripping.
You can switch into it from 2. I don't see any reason why you couldn't switch. My chevys that have had electronic transfer cases would blink if it couldn't get into 4 but those are nbs models.
Need a little more info like if it's constant, happens when you give it gas, and/or what part of the engine it is coming from. What gas are you running? Could be engine pinging from low octane but can't be sure.
That's what I was thinking. Don't plan on selling anytime soon anyway.
They consider crossmembers as frame damage. They love totaling my vehicles for stupid shit so I most likely won't go that route. Once they totaled my work truck when somebody broke the latches off the utility bed doors. But...
Went on a nice 4x4 trip today to the West Desert. Got in some pretty rocky terrain, couldn't miss hitting a rock or two. Got back and got under it to check for damage. Hit the crossmember in front of the gas tank and put a nice bend in it. Just wanted to know what you guys would do. Should I...
Got Pro Comp ES9000s for the front. Fixed the problem. They're ok but really stiff since they're off road shocks. Will post new pics later. Kinda wondering why this thread got moved to street suspension since this is more of an off road truck but oh well.
I actually think it's a pretty good idea and it would look cool. The only thing I would do is turn the drls off since the leds would be serving their purpose.
Hmm the the only sound I get is grinding when shifting into four low.
I thought about it since my shifter is pretty easy. But just in case I'm dropping the pan this weekend since someone gave 5 quarts of Lucas. Maybe I stuck the wrong filter in it and it fell out. Someone told me GM sticks...
Apparently too old. Just took one off and pressed it down. Wouldn't spring back up. I'm guessing that's the problem. Gonna get new Skyjackers and poly bump stops next week. Hopefully that's all that's wrong.
