Is your tahoe 4wd? If it is then that kit would be useless for you because you have torsion bar front suspension not coil springs. And lowering while trying to fit 35's is going to be hard considering 33's rub hard with stock offset and stock suspension.
I've got a 95 4 dr. 5.7 and the fuel gauge bounces while braking or accelerating. I'm guessing I need an "anti slosh module". Now is there any other options I have besides that module?
95 4dr. 4x4 it was lifted when I got it and I'm wanting to take the lift off ( cheap keys and blocks lift). What I'm wondering is if there was factory blocks or not. Thanks.
Sorry guys, got caught up cleaning some wild hogs we trapped. Replaced the cap and rotor and she's purring like an elephant again. I appreciate all your help.
Ok I found the issue, I think. Took off the dist. cap to see of the rotor was even spinning while cranking, there's no metal piece on the rotor anymore so I'm guessing that's the problem going to replace cap and rotor and see what the does. I did check the coil to make sure that was sparking...
Well, it's getting fuel, I can see it being sprayed onto the butterflies in the throttle body. I just don't have any spark. @SunlitComet think it could be the coil? Is there anyway to test it?
OTE="SunlitComet, post: 965520, member: 8604"]check the fuel pressure for 13-15 psi on a tbi and the spark test as well. tools can be bought or borrowed with deposit at parts store. you will need the fuel tester with adapters because on the tbi you have to tap into the line inline with the line...
95 tahoe 4wd 5.7
going down the highway Saturday morning went to accelerate and out of no where start spitting and sputtering barely running had to keep gassing it just to keep it running. Finally got it home and read the code, code 15 coolant temp sensor. Replaced that this morning and now...
Had this same exact problem, check the neutral safety switch by unplugging both plugs and reinstalling the ign fuse. If it doesn't try cranking by itself or blow the fuse, then replace the neutral safety switch.
95 tahoe 4wd 5.7L
Went out like normal and started the truck and the starter kept going, disconnected the battery, waited a few seconds and tapped the starter cable to the battery and it didn't start cranking again. So I hooked everything back up and tried starting it and nothing. Checked fuses...
95 tahoe 4wd 5.7. Drove it home from work ac worked great turned it off before cutting off the truck, went back out an hour later and started the truck and tried to turn ac on and nothing. I turn the fan setting to any position and get absolutely nothing no push buttons will light up (the rear...
Was wondering if anyone has ran 14 wide wheels with ifs? If so how did it ride? An off road shop in my area started making 18x14 moto metal 962 for only $1200 a set. I know it would look really good, just don't want to sacrifice the ride.
On my way home last night I noticed my volt meter barely reading 12v and the battery light just barely flickering. I thought my alternator was on its way out so took it up to AutoZone had it tested everything was good with it. Make a long story short through some searching around with wires I...

You wouldn't happen to know which wires to hook up would you? I've been looking online and really couldn't find any diagram that helps me. If you need the colors I have or pictures just let me know. Thanks
Update: got some better looking seats out of another wrecked repo 02 yukon denali maybe someone has done this swap and can tell me what they tapped into to get the heated part working
All functions if possible 6 way with lumbar and heat I might try to retro fit the door buttons for the heat...
I got some power heated seats out of a 2006 gmc yukon Denali that was wrecked during one of my repos last night. I'm planning on putting them in my 95 tahoe but the interior was gutted before I got the tahoe and some "racing" seats were put in place of the factory seats (which I can no longer...
To pull console down, there's one screw up close to the rear view mirror. Remove screw and slide the console forward. The blank I think is plastic riveted on but not 100 percent sure. It's easy enough to pull down and take a look.
I got some for my four door by looking in different states on craigslist and getting the guy to ship them to me. Took some talking to get him to do it and failed attempts from others but worth a shot.
Awesome!! After posting to three forum sites I thought I was never going to get this. It helps a lot I really appreciate you taking the time. Now to do some soldering. Thanks again sent you a pm by the way
