Ok so here is my problem fellas , for about 6 months I had my cel on for my catalytic converters having low efficiency so I finally replaced them with magnaflo converters and I must say I am very satisfied ! Now my question is before I replaced them from a dead stop I would take off slow and between 5-15 mph I get a hesitation and truck feels like it wants to turn off it stutters a little , and when I press the gas it like catches gear and idle goes back up and it runs fine doesn't do it all the time , and this doesn't through any code , I'm wondering could this be a dirty throttle body from the old converters that needs to be cleaned or could it be something else I mean it doesn't throw any codes all help is appreciated

Yea do the basics first. Make sure all your maintenance items are up to ***** (oil, air filter, plugs, etc.). Then maybe try a bottle or two of fuel injector cleaner or Seafoam. After that you might need a more thorough diagnostic to read your sensor voltages while it's running.

You have an underlying issue that is killing your cats. If you don't fix the primary issue and keep driving it, it will kill your cats again.

First thing I would do is clean the MAF sensor and throttle body.
