I have a 2016 tahoe with 40k miles. The passenger led strip in headlight is half out. Are these removable? .

Hmm.. not sure why it would go out, i have a 2015 Tahoe with 56,000 miles and no problems. But i would imagine its a whole new headlight housing. Make sure you get the correct one. (LS and LT) are different then (LTZ/Premier)

Recently had to have brake/taillight replaced on 15' Yukon with a little over 42,000 miles. Led strips were out and they replaced the whole assembly. My guess is headlight would be a full assembly replacement as well. Here's the bill on it, just paid $100 with extended warranty.

Holy crap! Guess I better hope mine keep working for a long time to come as I'm closing in on the end of my warranty with 2 years in and 30,400 miles currently.

With prices posted earlier I'd recommend the extended warranty as the ticket earlier is about 1/3 of the price of extended warranty I purchased.
