factory head unit amp output 99 burb

im looking to get one of these upgraded factory units with the added "aux" 3.5mm connection on ebay. I want to hook up a powered sub enclosure as well which requires an input from the head unit. whats the best way to get amp control and signal to that type of unit using the stock wiring?

Line out converter(LOC) is probably your best bet but check your powered sub might have it build in

thanks. im assuming this is spliced "in series" with one of the speaker outputs so that the speaker is still functioning? I mean by installing for an amp , you aren't giving up speakers right?

yes u are tapping into the speakers wont lose that speaker
