I am at alittle under 31 1/2" on driver side front & back, alittle over 31 1/2" at pass front and 31 3/4" at pass rear(can't get that pass rear side down anymore???? Pisses me off!!!!) ground to fender. I'm on 265/40/22. I am on McGuaghy spindles n keys cranked up, McGuaghy 5" coils. Not sure what to do about pass rear, may modify that coil to get even, Idk yet. Like to know if those 4230 coils sit even? I know everyone says they ride great? but not sure how much lower ill get with em without cutting coils? IDK, hard to know without testing, and my setup rides good now

Ok fellas here is what we got.. Alex33 I did all the measurements for you and WHITEOUT, I am running Tony's 3/5 kit with 4230 springs and full rear UCA,LCA,panhard. My tire for now is 275/55 20.

You wanted finderlip to ground and center hub to ground, right Alex?

So ground to finderlip is
Driver front 32 1/4
Driver rear 32 1/4
Pass front 32 1/2
Pass rear 32 5/8

center hub to fenderlip
Driver front
17 1/2
driver rear 17 1/2
pass front 17 1/2
pass rear 17 3/4

Imma mess with the front end this weekend and see what the tweeking over bumps is.
I will also need to order the helper bags ASAP. when we loaded up th Cuda' on the trailer is was NOT pretty. I does ride good an handle good. I just have several more trial and errors.:favorites68:

You typed two different things. is the 17 1/2 from center hub to fenderlip? For some reason my rear is 19" for that same measurement with the same parts and I cannot figure out why.

Did you move over sway bar like mentioned? Are the springs seated properly? Did you remove the rubber isolators? Not like it does much. Rear bump stop bracket removed? Somethings gotta be holding in up if you have the same setup????

I'm just alittle lower on center hub to fender then Yuko04, but same on passenger rear. Damn lean!!! lol. thanks for measurements Yuko04  Now wish u were in AZ so I could feel how it rides :driver:

All done. Swaybar removed, springs properly seated, bracket removed. No dice. I am genuinely stumped.

wonder if they sent you the wrong springs????????? thats almost 2" from what your saying you are sitting at and what Yuko04 says he's sitting at, both with same equipment. Maybe take some pics of underside, so everyone can see what "might" be going on, and of springs to show Tony. IDK, that's a tough one

Yep..As close as I could get ALEX. Truck was sitting on gravel when I took them measurements also...
You have the exact same set up as I do,right? Tonys 3/5, TB 4230 springs,BT SP shocks and DJM 3'' drop A-arms...Right? I also have Torsion bars as cranked as I can in the front with out the torsion bar bolt falling out. I am actually going to lift the truck up some...Does not feel good over bumps....

I agree WHITEOUT...Send us some pics ALEX.. Remember how stumped I was and come to find out my springs were ****-eyed and swaybar was resting on panhard bracket? I would put swaybar back in and re-locate or do some grinding. When i pull it in the garage tonight I will take several pics ALEX,so you can see my whole set up.
I would like to know also when you bought your kit. Seems like Tony has done a lot of research and design and switched vendors and springs to get the "right" riding kit for us folks. I believe it is your "springs" and and torsion bars are to high in the front. Did you use the factory "spring cups" in the the new springs? Did you do freeride mod? I see in one of you post that you have yellow and blue shocks not the BT SP's.
Shoot me pics budd. We will get this figured out. I am out of my semi until tuesday morning. So i will be here to help you as much as I can....:waytogo:

+1 somethings up with Alex33 setup. Yuko04 should be able to figure it out in no time with everything just went thru! should be a damn pro by now....haha, just messin with ya.

You should crank those keys up alittle tho. Everything I have read says that any position the keys at, doesn't affect the actual torsion bar spring rate. But when decranked down like that, it's like the front end has no where to go, and becomes very stiff and almost like you have no front suspension. I have decranked my front end before, and just felt like my suspension had no travel in it, and became very stiff. I am cranked up all the way, with only 1/2 turn out/down on each side. Something to think about, and can always decrank back down.

Yuko04- do you still have your front bump stops in?
Should look into the Z71 bump stops. Max hooked me up with a set, and are much better. I have since modified mine alittle, but they do make the front ride smoother. Something to consider

I'll get some pics for you guys sun or mon.

The front is good, I'm at 30 1/4". I did spindles and keys up front but I'm thinkin of switching to spindles and arms :D

The rear is definitely a concern though. I got everything November of last year.

Yuko - The pic you saw was with the Bilsteins in the rear. I swapped them out for the Belltechs a week or so ago.

I currently have the 4230s on the truck but I have 5305s and the McGaughy's 5" drop springs also. I may try those and see what changes.

There's a lot to try to get my setup where I want. I'm not against the work but I do want to make sure everything is working like it should. I'm also thinking of getting the boxed Spohn lowers since I don't need adjustables.

We shaved the bumpstops completly off in the front. So You think I should crank the keys back up, huh WHITEOUT? Maybe thats where im getting my juggling from over bumps. Its not metal to metal,or bottoming out. It is a feeling of a bad strut or something like that on a front wheel drive car. I'm gonna go wash and wax it and then get up under it.

Ahhhhh. Spindles and keys. Thats why you are alot lower than me in the front. I was wondering that. So you must be 2 wheel drive then huh? Also Alex, do you still have your spare tire on and your hitch? If you dont, that will play a BIG part on why you are not lower in the rear? NEVERMIND, I just checked your thread pic:emotions122:
