So as you guys may know, I've been a fan of THIS thread. And I ordered up a set of rocker arms.

THEIR HERE!!!!!!

I ran out of pic storage space to show the rest of the pics.

I can't wait until the shop gets these bad boys installed!!!!!
I will post up progress pics and butt-o-seat results when they get done.

Sorry, real life has been extremely busy.... Work has been hell lately.... I get up before my kids are up, and I get home after they are in bed.. sigh....
I've been booked for installing a server a week until November.....
It wasn't until I got a PM that I noticed I've been gone for a few weeks.... Thanks for reminding me that I have a life....

Anyways updates on the rocker arms. I have more pics to post, but it seems that I still have a lack of storage space to post them up here.

Otherwise, I have no updates. My shop has politely declined to install them. they don't want to be responsible for blowing a valve on my new crate motor... That means that I have to find someone else to install them. A guy offered to install them for $60, but I dunno. He was talking about making 90degree marks on the harmonic balencer and getting to TDC on firing cyl 1 and then installing the arms finger tight. Rotating the crank 90 degrees and then installing to finger tight on firing cyl 2, etc. Seemed kinda hokey to me. If his mark on the HB was off by a 16th of an inch, then I have bent valves.

I'll be honest. I'm too scared to install them, or have them installed. I'm worried about valve float and a piston kissing a valve.

So for now they are sitting on my desk at work.
It was a nice idea, but I don't think they are going to get installed.

Anyone wanna buy some cheap?

LOL!

Rockers are about as simple as it gets...
Learn how to do this and save yourself alot of money as roller rockers need to be adjusted from time to time.

If you need more help, Contact me via PM and I can walk you through it over the phone.
Have you adjusted and done in aprox 45 mins..

Enjoy

Rockers arms aren't goign to introduce valve float ... and a piston kissing a valve ... highy unlikely. and that is why you rotate it by hand ... my method you only rotate the engine once. It's simple but if you want to sell them throw up a price. :D

Damn, I was hoping you would get them installed so I could find out if the pushrods rub on the pushrod holes in the head.
