My buddy rebuilt the front suspension on his '07 Classic 2500 Duramax at 200k miles. The truck is on its 3rd set of tires, second set of Toyos. You've got to pay to get them but not so much to keep them!

Thanks - tomorrow is pull the trigger day for us. I am a little hesitant to do it because I am paying pretty much the retail value of this truck plus tax - but given its rarity I guess I should be happy. I've seen dealers gouging prices on these. Also a little hesitant because our Denali has been a good reliable car, but at 131k miles I can see the risk of costly problems going up. The 2500 has 77k, its not nothing but Id rather buy a car with some miles that I know was well maintained (with good history) - one owner accident free, etc. Like I said before, I am buying capacity to be able to go on big family road trips without worry. I hope this does it for us. Will update tomorrow.

Here's a pic! Its a 2013 Yukon XL 2500 SLT, bought it from a GMC dealer in Richmond VA. I had been searching for this car for a year. Very hard to find a good used 2500 suburban/Yukon that isn't beat to death. I had a search on cars.com that would send me updates...when one popped up I would call the dealer and leave a deposit until I could see it, then make the call. Several came close, several were lost because I hesitated...but this is the best one Ive seen. Black on black, 78k, nav, 2 row dvds, bench rear seat (my wife's preference), one owner, bought/maintained/traded there, no accidents. Couple scratches, and awful plastic chrome on the camper mirrors...which I will either remove or replace.

I don't mean to brag but this was such a search, and we are very fortunate to have been able to get it. We took our first cross country family road trip with our RV this past summer and loved it. Our former Yukon XL Denali did the job, but didn't love it. We hope this will give us more confidence to go where we want and explore without worry.

Nice find. Looks badass in black. You won't be disappointed. My search took me four months, and I ended up driving three hours to Fort Wayne to get mine.

Now, go get a tune from Blackbear. ;-)

I was gonna ask you about that :)
So how do you find out how many of this model were made in a particular year again? The more I learn the more I realize how truly rare this truck is. Oh - also - it doesn't have the power seat release buttons on the ceiling like yours...but everything else is good.

Compnine will give you a breakdown of your RPO codes and possibly how many other trucks like yours had the same option. 13s were the last year for 2500s on the GMT900 platform.

I'd say from the photo and your comments that you've done real good. I searched six weeks back in March through May for mine, hours a day across the country, found mine 699 miles away.

Nice find on your Yukon XL Ken!! Looks to be in excellent shape.

It is really nice you found a one owner with maintenance records so you know without a doubt how well it was maintained...You will definitely love it.

Thanks y'all...still deciding if I got the deal of the century or got screwed. Have to admit I found a record of the previous owner via the radio...and through a little search of FB. found the attached photo....that looks a little heavier than the 9400 it's rated for. Wonder A) what that weighs, and B) how often he did this. Should I be pissed?
