True. I definitely wasn't bashing all mid- to late-90s cars. We can name some good cars from that era. But I guarantee you we can name a lot more pieces of shit than good ones!

Buick roadmaster , now that's a car, I had a 92 limited, the wife had a 92 wagon, and the neighbor lady across the street had a 93 sedan, and my mom had a 96 wagon with the corvette motor in it. great stuff, and then don't forget 95 was the first year of the short suburban aka a Tahoe. ooh the old days.....

I'm just ready to get the truck back lol it's been n shop a few days already had interior minus the seats and motor fixed last year. Now I'm getting new Head lights , rear bumper, passenger side mirror, and door handles. As well I'm hoping they can fix my gas cap issue so I don't have to pry it open every time. I still am searching for the right seat covers and bug bar but Ima get her right!

you can buy the gas cap (assuming you mean the plastic yellow cap) for a few dollars online, easy fix

I think his push-to-open/push-to-close" latch is broken on the filler door. Still, I'm sure it's an easy fix and probably really cheap if he got a latch from the salvage yard.

...David, you DO know you press inward on the fuel door to make it pop out so you can pull it open it, right? I don't mean to insult you, but your issue just reminded me of when my neighbor's wife screwed up the filler door on her brand-new '09 Tahoe the day after she bought it because she didn't know how to open it. She thought it was broken and stuck and freaked out. She borrowed a big screwdriver from the cashier at the gas station and put some nice gouges in the paint around the edge of the opening.

shit happens, heck every other car out there is different, and why don't they put all gas caps on the same side? frickin engineers again, most have no common sense.
The only cars I can think of that I have seen them on the passenger side is European cars but I could be wrong.
