Well i've had my Hoe since late April of this year, and its now October, six months and still nothing done to the truck. Well...tommorrow i'll have a push bar and some pro comp 5x7 off-road lights. I gots and extra $320 to blow on the hoe. Gunna get the limo tint in the back and 5% on the front 2 windows. Gunna have to wait on msd ignition till next paycheck. Hopefully i'll have a 6" RCX lift by mid November. I'll post pic's of the before and after upgrades. If anyone knows of anything else i can add to my tahoe, let me know!!!

Well I'm sure we can all tell you LOTS to do to it. The question is what do you want to do that is within your budget? You could tint the front signals black as a quick and cheap mod to get you started. I normally recommend removing the moldings and emblems but I know some people are partial. They don't look as out of place to me on yours as they do on most due to the two tone. You can get an intake for less than your extra cash. PM Max here on the boards as he can get you a good deal on one. I got mine from him and am really happy with it.

There is so much i could do, but i need more flow.

Is getting a body lift worth the hassle?? I mean yea i can fit bigger tires but actual clearance is the same because of the stock suspension (for now ;] ).

Was thinking about a superchip or hypertech programmer for the extra lbs. torque and hp.

forget the programmer. Upper right hand corner of the site...Black Bear, click that link and follow the instructions. You will be much happier.

thanks bro! When you crank them go get an alignment so you don't chew up two front tires. And I wouldn't crank to the max, you'll tear up the front end ....everything

welcome to the forum!

theres a ton of little cheaper stuff you can do to it.

front lights
paint the frame
get rid of the moulding wheel well trim
tint
etc,etc

IMO i would stray away from getting just a body lift. they aren't so bad when paired with a suspension lift but alone they make the truck look way to CHEAP.

AtomicHoe: I was looking at the MSD ignition 6AL along with the wires and some e3 spark plugs.:waytogo:

Bowtiefreak: I wanna get maybe 2-3 inches of lift from the torsion bars, just enough to kinda level out the front with the back.

i see alot of tahoe's with different front light set ups. I think i gotta get some better bulbs lol

Im thinking of smoking my back lights, but taping off the reverse light so it'll stay brighter. Even thought of putting some LED's too!!!

You should not need new keys unless you TB are weak OBS keys will get you to the droop stops

well i guess i could crank them to about 1.5 inches then. Well i got my brush guard from the local 4 wheel center for $120 looks real nice on my rig, i'll post up some pictures to let you guys see. Definately going with the MSD layout, good bang for your buck. Getting the flowmasters soon too so it'll sound better than stock lol

yea you can get 1.5-2 easy with your keys, but i wouldnt run them any higher then that. Stay away from a body lift and just wait for a susp. lift. bl's are a pain in the ass, and when you start snapping body mount bolts you will wish you never started the project, dont ask me how i know :emotions122:.

Yea alot of people said to stay away from the body lift. Where would i get the key's for the torsion bars??? Idk if this is a stupid question but, whats better IFS or solid front/rear axles? I wanna be able to flex the hoe haha. I wanted to know if i could fit some 285/65/r16 m/t or a/t tires on the stock aluminum rims.
