Wrecked my ride

70 MPH 4 lane interstate and these dumb fukk drivers around here decide lets slam on our brakes for what??? Who the hell knows. Car in front of me didn't see the traffic stopping so they slam on there brakes in turn I slam on mine, skid 65 feet, and catch the drivers rear bumper spinning out a Honda passport like a pit manuever. No one hurt but truck took a good hit. Still driveable. Trooper sited me for "failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident." My G friend was 5 cars in front of me and said she never encountered any reason for traffic to have been stopping. Dumbest drivers I have ever encountered around here. Not the way I wanted to get a ram air hood.

I got one of those for "Failure to control speed." It's like they have to kick you when you're down, assholes they are. Paid a ticket attorney and got it gone.

most troopers always site someone at an accident scene. Any typically if you rear-end someone, you are at fault.

Rule of thumb is 1 car length per 10mph. So, 70mph you should theoretically leave 7 car lengths ahead of you.

I've been there before, its a horrible, helpless feeling. Hopefully you don't have a high deductible on your insurance. I've seen a lot of people have the evil $1000 deductible on collision coverage. Since you already hit another vehicle, your insurance will be paying for the other car's repairs. Take all the money your insurance will give you. Get it repaired and you'll feel better.
