Wife surprised me with some swaybars for Christmas

Been almost 3 years & 70K miles driven since installing the Hellwig swaybars and I still feel they are the 1st upgrade to do to these vehicles.

With almost 140K miles on my Yukon it is running & driven better than new. The Hellwig swaybars are still doing great and I do enjoy the curvy backroads that the Northwest offers. I have upgraded to a non-AFM cam & Brembo brakes front & rear but the rest has been just doing normal maintenance items.

I totally agree. The Hellwig sway bars are truly a MAJOR difference maker.

Did you use OEM front sway bar endlinks? I am about to order the front and rear hellwig sway bars for my 2018 denali

Yes, used the OEM front swaybar endlinks. The resr swaybar comes with adjustable endlinks. Even with my 2"/3" drop all is good even after 70K+ miles of use.
Great to know. Do you have any tips for install on the Belltech spindles? Were the ball joints difficult to separate? I’m planning to install the Belltech kit along with the Hellwig front bar very soon. I already have the rear.

No issues, just need a big socket for the axle nut and good pneumatics. I had to take things apart recently when I installed the 16.2" PPV Brembo brakes that required a bigger brake shield.

I always try to go through a few videos of people doing the job so I know what to expect and tools to have so I made sure I got the 36mm socket. My little 5 gallon compressor is too small to run air tools but Milwaukee M12 stubby and a couple ratchets get me through.

Yea, I don't have a shop compressor any more. I use nothing but Milwaukee Tools but I do have a 5 gallon compressor that I use to blow out/clean off areas that I will be taking apart and don't want debris falling in holes. The 5 gallon compressor is good enough for air tools for a short burst of power. Then you sit around and wait for the air to build back up.
