Hello, my regular Tahoe Premier 2017 is always sucking a battery dry in a year. 7 years 7 batteries. Dealership says nothing wrong. All tests come out correct. Looking to add the secondary battery and even a larger alternator. I added the Whipple 3.0 supercharger , kooks catted headers and car runs strange. Even had to modify firewall since the system was “made “ for exact fit but it was not.
Any recommendations for extra battery. Extra wiring. Bigger alternator?
32,000 miles. Any better plugs and cables? Thanks friends!!

make or purchase a ground wire to run from 2nd battery to 1st battery (attach both together)
buy or make a power wire from 2nd battery to starter, (attach to starter along with 1st battery starter cable)
buy a battery hold down and bolt for 2nd battery (tray should already be present)
battery hold down is the same one gm has always used on full size vehicles.
this creates a simple basic parallel battery setup.
