I beleive these are the largest of their type available.
I have experience with a smaller older Thule. I don't love that one wobbles when opening and the difficulty in getting it to seat to lock it. The plastic is holding up well though and it's easy to tighten. I read on Amazon though that the front has been opening a few inches at highway speeds on the Force.
The Yakima is unknown to me. It appears to have more adjustability in the spacing of the latches. The locking system appears similar and the latch looks like it's more sturdy.
How is the plastic construction? Is the unit as well made?
Yakima appears to be somewhat less expensive also.
Please let me know your experiences with either.
