anybody ever had experience with these subs right now they are like 80 new for a 15 from onlinecarstereo.com and looking at specs they seem like they could be pretty decent for the price 400 rms watts and i would probably get 2 and run them off a kenwood kac-9104d which is 900 rms. just trying to see what people think abou them i know the amps soundstream makes are good but dont know much bout the subs.

decent street sub. for the price is great. i know some with 2 of um. paid $120 for both and has them in a old VT box. sounds great considering he's only running a 800d.
for the same price the Crunch GPV15D2 will show it out any day of the week. its a decent sql sub thats cheap.
soundstream /low and mid end stuff isnt what it once was after power acoustik took over.
crunch was super cheap at one point but now that they're maxxsonics its worth a look.

i have a soundstream xxx15 sitting here.. all 87 pounds of it... i'll let it go...
i had tested it with a soundigital sd8000.1 (a little over 9,00rms at 14.4) took it like a champ...
we plugged a xxx18 in a wall socket before and it took it for over 20 minutes... we just unplugged it LOL. no other sub lasted over 5-6 minutes
i'll sell it to you LOL, all you need is 1

Im sure it will sound decent but one not try something else thats in the price range or just get one sub that you are familiar with and build a good box and there ya go, one Kicker CVR ported would pound, also heard good things about the JBL GTO series

alright so checked out the fi website looks like they redid the ssd and it would probably be perfect for what i want. its 800 rms and i could use the box i already have for now til i built one its only 199 so about 40 more than i woulda been looking at for the two soundstream subs im thinkin this would be a much better alternative to the low end soundstream subs.

FI's will run circles around the pcw-15's..
another cost effective great preforming sub is the street duty AudioQue's... dont cost a lot and can take a lot more than the 600rms recommended. my cousin has one with a db drive 1600.1 and its taking it no problem. he's upgrading to a hdc15A though

ya i think for 200 bucks just a stock fi ssd could handle another 60-100 watts that my amp would push to it and sound pretty damn good i just need to decide if i want the 15 to make things easy or the 18 for 30 bucks more

18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18

did i say 18 yet LOL
all fi 18's are great even if they aren't BTL's... and when it comes to fi power handling isn't a big issue.. if you put 1200rms to it, it's still gonna be fine.. wont even get warm

ya im really leaning that way im getting an alarm in a couple weeks then i will probably start on my build sometime in the middle to end of next month just gonna run my 900 watt rms amp to it and keep it that way for a while so that i can upgrade speakers and everything after i get the sub and amp installed
