Has anyone removed their side molding off of their yukon denali? Was it a hard process? Any pictures?

If you take it all off PM a price for it. I might be interested. It shouldnt be hard as all. Should be sticky taped on. Alittle goo gone should take the residue right off.

Some use fishing line to "saw" through the double sided tape then use 3M wheel attachment for drill to remove the remaining tape.

So it's the 3m tape that holds it on? Good my mustang side pieces were bolted and was a pain

If you rubber wheel it, it's gonna need a buff in most cases. I did my emblems a week or two ago and buffed the spots afterwards.

Do you think goof off would be a better solution rather than the 3m wheel
I used denatured alcohol to remove my badges. It works but much more elbow grease. Fyi, there may be a discoloration/oxidized ring around the molding. In some cases buffing will help, some cases not.

I use goo gone when I debadge and I didn't have to wheel or buff. You can't see any lines where the emblem was. I was pretty shocked. I have a dark green Tahoe if color matters

I've debadged a few vehicles. As long as the emblems are simply adhered, I get best results using fishing line to 'slice' them off, followed by goof-off to remove visible remnants of adhesive, followed by polishing with a mild compound (Meguiar's Ultimate Compound is my favorite), followed, if necessary, by a good fine polish (Meguiar's Ultimate Polish) then sealant and wax.

I use rapid remover when debadging and demolding. Usually heat the area up or let it sit out in the sun for most of the day, in my experience it helps the tape remove for the body better. Spray some rapid remover on let sit for a minute and start wiping off. Then polish and wax afterwards
