Found a good deal on a set of replacement Sport Cup 2s. Take offs with a couple of hundred miles on them for $1400 ($2200 new). But the guy is in Charlotte so I'm meeting him half way in Columbia SC tomorrow morning. Better wear my mullet hat and slap an 88 decal on the Range.

Oh and in other news I received my new custom forged wheels 20/21a with 295 fronts and 375 rears ... yes 375.
These were designed by me and a vendor, inspired by the Z/28 wheels, they are both convex and concave, and as a result have the deepest concavity of any C7 wheel.
Let me see if I can find a pic ...

Next time you have to come to the track like Nathan did. As my passenger seat will attest to, the videos do not do the experience justice.

At least that thing didn't record me pee-peeing in my pants...
It was an absolute blast. Serge pointing the vette down the straight away into the trees going 148 mph and I'm thinking to myself why the hell isn't he braking. And to top it off, I made 3 laps around the track as a passenger with a professional Indy car driver driving the tires off the vette.
Just crazy...
There were like 4-5 GTR's and different Porsche's and stuff... great time!

I just booked a dream track trip.
On my birthday weekend (Sept 4th cash donations welcome) I'm spending two days at COTA tracking my car with Edge Addicts. A bunch of us hired a closed transporter to take our cars from the east coast to Austin and sit with them at the track all weekend. So we're all flying out on the 4th, tracking the 5th and 6th, and flying back on the 7th.
Can't wait ...
